Trekking in Ella Rock

Ella Rock is a must see landscape in Sri Lanka, where an extraordinary panoramic view will unfold in front of you. This rock is significant because it holds a tree at its peak. This is an ideal place for greenery and nature lovers.

Trekkers would enjoy the place though hiking is bit tiring. The scenic outlook with mist and cloud during dawn and dusk is something you should witness with your naked eye.

The total time for climbing up and down takes 4 hours. The journey is great to observe the diversity. While you are climbing up, you will be passing a waterfall, the rubber tree forest and tea plantations.

It can be slippery during rainy season, therefore be thoughtful about your clothes. Towards the end of the hike route is steepy but still manageable.
